Hi there it's been awhile. So this new school has been taking up so much of my time it is nuts and I've been really preoccupied with a menagerie of outside projects as well. However enough new stuff has been going on that I figured I'd give a little update.
I'll be showing work around town here in Portland and also in LA very shortly, here's the breakdown of events and dates if you'd be interested in making it to any of them;
April 12th - Linework NW: lineworknw.tumblr.com/
I will not physically be there but at the PNCA booth I have 5 prints each of the following pieces available;
April 24th - "The Burst" by AEPDX: aepdx.tumblr.com/theburst
They don't announce it until tomorrow but I was one of the illustrators chosen to participate in this and I'll be paired up with a VFX person to create a thing. I'll be at the event that day as well to give the presentation and junk!
May 23rd - The sketch show at Gallery1988 East in LA: nineteeneightyeight.com/
I will have 4 original sketches up there just for the show. I haven't posted these anywhere yet and will probably only post when they are all framed and sent out.
July 9-12 - ICON8 Illustration conference: theillustrationconference.org/
I was fortunate enough to get a ticket to this and it happens to be only a few blocks from my apartment. I'll be there all day everyday essentially networking and stuff and I am so, so stoked!
It's a busy little window of time right now just prepping for these while still trying to finish up some overdue commissions and working on a few professional projects that are under wraps at the moment. Sorry if I reply super slow especially this month as it's going to all just feel like a bit of a race but hopefully everything will just click into place.

Graphic Novels//Patreon Updates
Just wanted to post a head’s up of some things I’m working on!
Over on Patreon, I have begun offering monthly classes, but I also now offer a ‘pen-pal’ tier! If you sign up for that I will be sending you a hand-made/drawn/painted card monthly.
Also, I just made project pitches for 4 graphic novels/projects I want to take on (those are free to download/read for the public). I’m going to begin focusing heavily on making these reality! New pages/WIP will be available for anyone in the $5 and above tiers. Additionally, in those tiers, you can vote monthly on which I should focus on (as well as minor things in selec
Classes
Hey, all! So, I have been meaning to put together/release a monthly class sort of thing for awhile now and it’s here! Every month on Patreon I’ll be uploading a new lesson. You can join in by completing the assignments (this month by May 20th) and submitting them to get video critiques. We’re starting off with fundamentals, but it’ll be evolving into more career-centric information.
This month is all about simplifying value, but next month is about color (super excited about that one!).
So, if you’re interested in checking it out/getting involved, lesson 1 is now live on both Patreon & Gumroad!
Sketchbook Compilation!
Sketchbook Compilation (2009 onwards) is now available on my Gumroad!
I offer and post these monthly on my Patreon, but wanted to make a centralized place to get all of them elsewhere. If you purchase this pack on Gumroad, I will be continually updating it with new sketchbooks bi-annually.
Cheers, y'all!
The Kelly Engine
"The Kelly Engine" is an animated project of mine focusing on 3 delinquent girls. Kelly claims to be a vampire and to fuel her bloodlust she enrolls the help of her two close friends. They make a deal to only kill criminals, but killing is killing and there's more than one side to morality.

Ooooo I'm excited for you. This is good info too; -despite being in Canada- there is a real lack of illustration shows/conferences around, and it's always nice to see they do happen.
I've always been curious about doing a local digital print show myself, but worry it'd look too cheap. Guess Ill have to jump the gun and just go for it.
Again, best of luck with this all!
